Oh my goodness....it has been so long since my last update! Partly because we steal internet from a neighbor, and partly because Maddox is wild and I always have Morghyn on my boob :) So much has happened! Most importantly miss Morghyn Volena Moffitt has made her debut! She is beautiful and more than we ever hoped for. Maddox absolutely adores her! Always hugging her, kissing her, and wanting to know where she is at all times! Morghyn weighed 8 lbs 6 ounces, and was 19 and a half inches long. She spent 4 hours in the NICU after birth with some breathing issues, but nothing major. I had a harder time after this C section than after my ceserian with Maddox. Lots of problems but everything is dandy now. We stayed a long 2 days in the hospital, and came home on Thanksgiving afternoon. Morghyn had her first outing that very day. We went to Mawmaw's house, she cooked up some of her famous chicken and dumplin's for dinner! Nana, Pappaw, and Kelsey stayed with us for a few days after coming home. Thanks to my mom...I don't know what I would have done without her here day and night. She was a huge help! Morghyn has brought so much joy into our lives! We are truly blessed to have 2 beautiful healthy children!!

Brandon's Birthday Present
I couldn't decide on something cool to get Brandon for his big 30th birthday. I wanted a to get him something different. So I took him to a Cowboys game! We had a hard time getting there...but we finally made it at halftime. We had a great time and Brandon was very pleased with his birthday present!
Way past time for an update!
Yes...he is pooping in the lake! He did this all on his own :D
Cool Dude

That is a boy for you...chips chair and tv :)
Riding the carousel
Spinning the bears
Riding the goat!
His first big boy ride all by himself :(
Picking out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch
He sure loved that rootbeer
My favorite!!
Sorry I'm just now updating...our internet doesn't work at home and I never have time when I'm at the shop. So here goes! Not much has gone on in the past month and half. Just a lot of football watching and hanging out. We took Maddox to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago. He had a great time! He got to feed goats and longhorns. We went on a hayride and Maddox went on a little train ride. He loves Halloween time! Everytime he sees a pumpkin or a scarecrow he gets very excited! But his favorite part is the "Scary Store". You wouldn't believe how much he likes to be scared! This boy is crazy! We go into the Halloween store and he goes straight to the scary stuff, the Michael Myers and dolls that have spinning heads. He is obsessed! Everytime we pass one he screams "Scary Store", pretty much every morning when he wakes up he asks to go to the "scary store"! I don't know what we will do when the Halloween store shuts down for the season. Maybe he will get interested in Christmas stores :)
We went to Grapefest in Grapevine. Maddox had a blast! He got to ride some big boy rides. He rode the carousel and some trucks. Brandon and I got on the spinning bears with him. I told Brandon not to spin too fast because I didn't want to get sick...but what do ya know...Maddox was the one spinning and he had that thing going! He was cracking up! He went to the petting zoo while we were there. He tried to ride a goat! It was too cute. Our little rodeo boy :)
Only 5 and half more weeks until baby Morghyn gets here! We are so excited and so unprepared! We haven't done much of anything to prepare except buy her bedding. We have so much to do and so little time to do it. Maddox has been regressing a little. He will not sleep in his bed at all and he refuses to wear his underwear! He saw a box of baby diapers and now he wants to wear diapers too. My goal was to have him in underwear and in his own bed by the time Morghyn gets here, but I'm not sure that is going to happen. He will get his "bo bo" and say "whaaa waaaa" like a baby! I tell him he is a big boy, but he tells me no he is a baby. Hopefully that will change soon and he will grow out of this stage. I will get a belly pic up soon...I promise!

26 weeks...12 more to go!
Well...here we are! 26 weeks along and only 12 left! This pregnancy is flying by. Maddox keeps me on my toes and my thoughts away from being preggo. We went to Mawmaw's work last Monday for an ultrasound. Our baby is measuring exactly 1 week ahead than my actual pregnancy. So she is now measuring 27 weeks. She is also a little heavier than she should be :) But that runs in the family!
We didn't do much this past weekend. Just trying to relax and enjoy our time as a family of 3. We did have Monica, Bryce, Brock, Meredith, Stuart, and Grandma over on Saturday for a little cookout. It ended up being a great day and a great weekend.

Arbuckle Wilderness in Oklahoma
They call these mountains in Oklahoma...LOL!
He sure loves sitting up front with Mommy and Daddy
Maddox the ostrich
Maddox and daddy feeding the ducks and turtles
Thank goodness this big thing was gated in!
Watching the giraffe's
He is HUGE!
I did not zoom in at all...this is how close this giraffe is!
Feeding the giraffe's
Maddox was a little scared of the zebras
Momma and baby zebra
These things were everywhere...scary looking huh?!
The donkey's would come up to our window with their mouth's wide open!
We ventured off to Oklahoma yesterday. We started out at the park Sunday morning...it was HOT and only 10 am! So Brandon remembered a drive thru zoo we could go to. So we went home and grabbed some snacks and drinks and took off an hour and half up to Davis, Oklahoma. It was mine and Mad Man's first time to the super awesome state of OK! I was joking....that state from what I saw seemed quite boring :) We started at the Arbuckle Wilderness. It's pretty neat...as soon as you cross the gate there are ostrich and camels walking all around you! We were able to buy animal food and feed them while we were driving through. Maddox liked it...sometimes! Other times he would get scared :) He was amazed at the giraffe's! They aren't roaming around, they are behind a fence but we were able to pull up right next to them and feed them out of our car! You never really know how giant they are until you are right up on them. After Arbuckle we drove over to what we thought was going to be a big waterfall...but it was just a creek with a 3 foot waterfall! Haha! And a bunch of mexican's splashing around. Turner Falls...don't go there unless you are forced to! LOL! Anyway...our day was an adventure and turned out to be very fun! We plan on going to the drive-thru zoo in Glen Rose this fall.
